For those of you wanting to study printmaking as a graduate degree, here is the U.S. News and World Report Listing of the Top 20 Graduate Printmaking Programs in the US. (as per 2008). I might beg to differ with a few and add a few others which are fine producers of printmakers( like Miami University of Ohio, and Illinois State University - both my alma maters), but all in all, these are among some of the best the US has to offer. It is also worth noting that from this list there are two schools in the southwest, three in the south, six in the east and the majority of the schools (11) are situated in the Midwest - which we all know is still the heart of printmaking in this country.
